Scholarships & Merit Schemes (2026-27)
Amity University Gurugram strongly believes in rewarding academic excellence, sporting talent, and supporting deserving students through a range of generous scholarship programs.
We offer both merit-based and need-based financial aid schemes. In the last academic cycle, over 1,500 students received tuition fee waivers based on their entrance exam scores, academic performance, and national achievements.
Advisory Notice
Scholarship Application Window: On-admission scholarships are automatically processed at the time of form evaluation. No separate application is required. Special scholarships (Sports/Defense) require separate documents submission to the Registrar.

100% Tuition Fee Waiver
Eligibility: 93% and above aggregate marks in CBSE / ICSE / State Board Class 12th (2025/2026 passout batches). Excludes physical education, fine arts, and performing arts subjects.
50% Tuition Fee Waiver
Eligibility: 88% to 92.9% aggregate marks in CBSE / ICSE / State Board Class 12th. Applied directly on first-year academic tuition fees.
25% Tuition Fee Waiver
Eligibility: 80% to 87.9% aggregate marks in Class 12th or equivalent qualifying board. Ideal for wide UG program coverage.
On-Admission Merit Scholarships (PG)
Sports & Special Category Scholarships
Sports Scholarship (Up to 100% Waiver)
Offered to national or international level medal winners in sports recognized by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) or Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Requires trials and interview confirmation by the Sports Board.
Martyr's Defense Scholarship (50% Waiver)
A tribute to national heroes, offering a flat 50% tuition waiver to children of soldiers from Armed Forces, Paramilitary forces, and Police personnel martyred in action.
Scholarship Renewal Guidelines
Renewal Criteria: To continue receiving the tuition waiver in subsequent academic years, scholarship holders must maintain a minimum SGPA / CGPA of 8.0 (for 100% waiver) or 7.5 (for 50%/25% waiver) at the end of each year, achieve 75% class attendance, and have no disciplinary issues or backlogs.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
No, all tuition waivers apply strictly to the academic tuition fee component. Hostel, mess, security deposits, and examination fees must be paid in full by the student.
No, students can only avail of one scholarship or fee waiver scheme at any given time. Multi-combination of schemes is not permitted.
If a student fails to meet the CGPA criteria at the end of the academic year, the scholarship is suspended for the next year. It can be reinstated once the CGPA rises to the required limit again.
