Admission Process & Steps

1. Online Registration

Visit the official admission portal, select your preferred course level (UG/PG), and verify your email/phone.

2. Fill Application Form

Complete your academic & personal profile, upload necessary marksheets, and pay a one-time application fee of ₹1,500.

3. Entrance Exam Selection

Submit national entrance test scores (JEE Main, CAT, CLAT, NATA) or schedule the AMITY JEE exam.

4. Personal Interview (PI)

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online/offline interview panel with the department deans.

Eligibility Criteria (Level Wise)

Undergraduate Programs

Completion of Class 12 or equivalent with required subjects. B.Tech requires PCM/CS with min 60% aggregate. B.Arch requires valid NATA score + 50% aggregate. Final-year students are eligible to apply provisionally on result-awaiting status.

Postgraduate Programs

Relevant bachelor's degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks. MBA applicants require a valid CAT, MAT, or XAT score. M.Tech applicants require GATE or AMITY Entrance score.

Doctoral Programs

Master's degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks. Candidates must clear the Amity Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) followed by research proposal presentation and supervisor panel interview. Exemption for UGC-NET/CSIR-NET qualified scholars.

Required Documents for Verification

General Category Students

Class 10th & 12th marksheet/passing certificate, graduation degree/provisional marksheet (for PG), national entrance scorecard (JEE Main/CAT/CLAT/NATA), migration certificate, TC, and 8 recent passport size photos.

International Category Students

Valid Passport & student visa endorsement, AIU Equivalence Certificate for foreign board/degree, academic transcripts translated to English, English proficiency test (IELTS / TOEFL) scorecard, medical fitness certificate & insurance coverage, and proof of financial support.

Reservation & Category Policies

Amity University Gurugram complies with the state norms for reserved category allocations (SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled) for domicile residents of Haryana. Relaxation of up to 5% marks in qualifying parameters is permitted for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Please contact the Admissions Registrar for the official seat matrix.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy: Refunds are processed as per UGC norms. Application fees are non-refundable. Request for seat cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Admission Office.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Yes, final-year/final-semester students awaiting results can apply and receive provisional admission, subject to meeting eligibility thresholds upon marksheet release.
Candidates with valid national JEE Main scorecards are exempted from AMITY JEE and can participate directly in the selection counseling process.
The one-time application fee is ₹1,500, which can be paid online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI on the portal.
